He is survived by: his children, Salisia Ellerbe (Robin) of Honolulu, HI, Samaria Evans of Raleigh, NC and Mitchell Evans (Monica) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his siblings, Betty Bond (Jimmy) of Chesapeake, VA, Carolyn Richardson of Hampton, VA, Ruby Evans of Rocky Mount, NC, Jaycee Evans (Faye) of Rocky Mount, NC, Bryant Evans of Rocky Mount, NC and Charles Evans of Newport News, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
