With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ava Nolie McGee Austin of Hollister, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie McGee and Ellen McGee; and her siblings, Bill McGee, Esther McGee Spruill, Myrean McGee, Willie Mae McGee, Willie Morris McGee, Belle McGee Frye and Haywood McGee.
She is survived by : her children, Roy, Ellen Woolford and Gayle Pottillo (Willie); her siblings, Jesse McGee and Minnie of Washington; and her grandchildren, Tony (Francis), Kimberly, Marcus and Michael. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Because of Covid-19, all CDC guidelines will be followed by the wearing of masks, social distancing, and limiting the number of persons in attendance.
