It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Michael Lasater of Holden Beach, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Lasater and Peggy Hamilton Lasater; and his sister Rose Mary Lasater. He is survived by: his children, Emily Ann Lasater of Philadelphia, PA and Christopher Lasater (Brianna) of Holden Beach, NC; and his siblings, Billy Lasater of Anderson Creek and Cindy Buchanan (Craig) of Broadway. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 15 nieces and nephews.
