He was predeceased in death by his sister Alisa Debra Lee in 1990 and son, Christopher Nelson Lee in 2018. He was a life long commercial fisherman. He is survived by : his parents, Nelson Lee and Dorothy Lee of Hobucken; his siblings, Gregory Lee of Arapahoe, Kristia Lee Anderson of Grantsboro and Andrea Lee Withrow of New Bern; and his children, Dana Lee of Bayboro and Sommer Lee of Havelock. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
