She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Brickhouse and Thelma Alexander Brickhouse; her son Dennis S. Lassiter, III; and her siblings, Cassandra, Shelton, Dottie and Dallas.
She is survived by: her daughter Chante L. Jordan (Steven); her grandchildren, Tiaheem, Tyvonn, Mark, Pamela, Dennis IV, Bryson, Antoine, Tyler and Dalanie; her siblings, Barbara Knight (William), Joann Howell (Lloyd), Rufus Brickhouse (Carrie), Paulette Brickhouse, William "Bill" Brickhouse (Rose), Charles Covington, Norris Brickhouse (Claudia), Freda Melton (Randy), Renee Askew (Sam) and Gregory Brickhouse; and her close friend Allen Locke. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community of Hope Funeral Service (357 Hobbsville Rd, Hobbsville, NC 27946). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. John AME Zion Church (1102 U. S. Hwy 158 W, Gates, NC 27979).
