She is survived by: her husband Herman DeWitt Pierce, Jr.; her daughters, Karen Phthisic (Scott) of Tyner and Rosa Bunch (Eddie) of Edenton; her siblings, Brenda Perry (John Ethwell) of Gatesville, Nancy Hill (Tommy) of Smithfield, VA and Richard Taylor (Lillie) of Suffolk; her sister-in-law Vickie Taylor of Eure; her grandchildren, Joshua Phthisic, Nicholas Bunch (Gabrielle), Rachel Oliver (Ryan), Samuel Phthisic (Lauren), Roslyn Bunch and Maggie Bunch; and her great grandchild Ryland Faye Bunch.
