With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Hobbs Hendrix of Hobbsville, North Carolina, born in Gates, North Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Junius Alfred and Lille Mae White Hobbs; her husband Robert John Hendrix, Jr.; her son Andy Robert Hendrix; and her siblings, Doris Stallings, Weldon and James Hobbs.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Hendrix Knight (R. V. III); her daughter-in-law Diane R. Hendrix of Eure; her sister Juanita Simmons of Coral Springs, Florida; her grandchildren, Amber Hendrix, Ryan Hendrix (Zoey Perkins), Christopher Knight (Rebecca) and Matthew Knight (Becky); and her great grandchild Tyler Knight.
