We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2023, at the age of 83, Willie Mae Harris of Hillsborough, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy D. Haizelip and R. J. Haizelip; her brother Rufus Haizelip; and her siblings-in-law, Oscar (Jay) and Doris Joyner.

She is survived by: her husband William Harris; her daughter Amy Ascher; her son-in-law John Ascher; her grandchildren, Avery, Benjamin and Christopher; and her sister Gracie H. Wheeley. She is also survived by 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
