He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Long and Emma Walker Long. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Long; his sons, Rodney Whitted (Cassandra), Maurice Whitted (Linda) and Ronald Whitted; his stepsons, Joseph Torain Jr. (Tiffany) and Kendon Torain (Sanekka); and his siblings, Eugene Long (Gladys), Sylvia Jackson and Virginia Jennings. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
