He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Williams and Annie Bell Williams; his former life partner Shirley Pittman Williams; and his siblings, Jimmy Williams, Larry Williams, George Williams, Marie Williams Howard and Marilyn Williams Pittman.

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Williams. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in law and nieces and nephews.
