She was predeceased by: her parents, Glady Rance Martin and Harriet Browning Martin; her sister Nancy Martin Vanstory; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Gish, Harvey Levan, Kenneth White and James Rumbold.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Patterson Cockrell of Hillsborough; her daughter Amy Cockrell Price (Earnie); her granddaughters, Chloe Alexandra Price and Avery Victoria Price of Hillsborough; her son Kevin Patterson Cockrell (Dana); her grandsons, Clay Anderson Cockrell of Bristol and Ryan Tyler Cockrell of Bristol; and her siblings, Dorothy Martin Gish of Yadkinville, Diane Martin Levan of Stony Point, Randy Neil Martin (Jill) of Statesville and Russell Dale Martin (Vickie) of Conover.
