It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Doris Davis Burch (Hillsborough, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Davis and Grace Arrington Davis; her husband Alfred H. Burch; her grandson Daniel Bale; and her brother Floyd Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Bale, Nancy Mortilla, Pam Sanders (Butch), Michelle Burch and Alfred Burch, Jr. (Shelley); her grandchildren, Ginger Bruce (Jeff), Angela Albright (Danny), Carrie Bale, James Burch, Joel Burch, Jesse Burch (Amanda), Jamie Burch, Chrissy Ash (Will), Michael Lukas (Amanda), Daniel Lukas (April), Jonathan Litwitz, Bruce King, Mark Cokins, Daniel Mortilla, Bradley Mortilla, Adam Mortilla, Sammy Mortilla, Kristi Heintz and Donnie Heintz; and her siblings, Margie Newcomb, Barbara Swarner, Betty Horton (Weldon) and Doug Davis (Inge). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
