He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Blake Wilson and Alice Wilson; his former life partner Margaret Fara Garnes; his sister Margaret Brant; his wife Shirley Jacobs; his children, Theresa Harris (Tim) and Anthony Garnes; his grandchildren, Emily Harris, Richard Harris and Stacey Garnes; his great grandchildren, Bentley Garnes and Westlynn Garnes; and his siblings, Pearle Melton, Judi Wilson, Becky Terrell (Morris), Clara Wilson, Blake Wilson Jr. (Leslie) and Kenny Wilson (Faye).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Edgewood Baptist Church.
