He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Yarboro Martin; his parents, Jesse Haywood Martin and May Holloway Martin; his sister Patricia Martin Reeves; and his half-siblings, Aubrey M. Martin, Vance B. Martin and Edrie Martin Page.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Martin (Tony); and his stepchildren, Ann Morton Owen (Bobby) of Roxboro and Irvin George Morton of Benicia, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
