He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Marie Kots; his sons, Eric and James; and his siblings, Fannie (Lizzie), Young, Jean, Opal, Hamby, Alonzo and Larry.
He is survived by: his children, Ralph Coleman (Miriam) of Hurdle Mills, Ronald Coleman (Dee) of Midland, TX, Mary Justesen (Leon) of Cedar Grove, NC, Glen Coleman of Thomasville, NC, Florene Miller (Tim) of Charlotte, NC and Gene Coleman (Carla) of Hoschton, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Goldie Bowman (Max) of Elgin, NE, Frances Coleman of Hillsborough, NC and George Headrick of Indianola, IA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
