With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ted Andrews of Hillsborough, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ted Andrews to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Norbert King Andrews; his father-in-law Robert Caudle; and his nephew Mitchell Andrews. He is survived by: his mother Mary Whitfield Andrews of Hillsborough; his wife Katherine Caudle Andrews of Hillsborough; his daughters, Elizabeth Andrews of Chapel Hill and Meredith Andrews Bagley (Chad) of Greenville; his granddaughter Lydia Bagley; his stepgrandson Cameron Bagley; his brothers, Everette Andrews (Dale) of Hillsborough and Don Andrews (Dot) of Asheville; his mother-in-law Bet Caudle of Charlotte; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Bobay, Randy Caudle and Artis Caudle of Charlotte. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Cane Creek Baptist Church (6901 Orange Grove Rd, Hillsborough, NC 27278). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks those wishing to honor Ted's memory to contribute to Cane Creek Baptist Church (℅ Education Building fund, 6901 Orange Grove Road, Hillsborough, NC 27278), Samaritan's Purse (https://www.samaritanspurse.org.), American Heart Association (https://pages.heart.org>donate).

I always enjoyed seeing him outside his door between classes and he always had a smile. I loved his wry sense of humor and feel very fortunate to have known and worked with him. He was wonderful!!
