It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Dee Craig Jr. of Hillsborough, North Carolina, born in Wayne, Michigan, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dee and Dora Squire Craig; and his brothers, Garland Dee Craig and Roy Melvin Craig. He is survived by: his wife Linda Heins Craig; his children, Jeffrey Alan Craig of Hillsborough, NC and Jennifer Joanne Nielsen of Rock Hill, SC; his sister Evelyn Johanne Choroser of Vista, CA; and his grandchildren, Trevin Jeffrey Craig, Corbin Collins Craig, Alexa Joy Craig, Kira Maria Craig, Sophia Rose Nielsen and Erin Christine Nielsen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Diabetes.
