He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Jefferies and Margaret Lois Jackson Harder. He is survived by: his siblings, Lynn Wethington and Russell Harder (Betty); his stepson Buddy Scoggins (Teresa); and his stepgrandsons, Ronnie Scoggins and Daniel Scoggins. He is also survived by two nephews, one niece, six great nephews, two great step-grandsons, and one great niece.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (148 N Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278).
