It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Winston Gupton (Hillsborough, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cheatham Winston Gupton and Earline Pearl Stanley Gupton; and his sister Elizabeth Diane Gupton. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Gupton; his daughters, Ashleigh Wyatt (Kerry) and Tracie Pressley (Russ); his grandchildren, Coty Bordelon (Lauren), Brandon Bordelon, Kalen Wyatt, Sgt. Corey Self, Garrett Love, Caitlin Love and Maddie Pressley; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Bordelon and Lilly Bordelon.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Rose of Sharon Baptist Church: 4109 Guess Rd, Durham, NC 27712.
