He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, Edward Leesnitzer and Maude Leesnitzer; and his siblings, Eddie and Hilda.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Leesnitzer (Lauren), Deborah Golden (John), Tony Leesnitzer (Lisa), Ken Leesnitzer and Eddie Grady (Marcie); his grandchildren, Carli Hicks (Brad), Jordan Pope (Perry), Jake Wilson, Cole Leesnitzer, Jack Leesnitzer, Noah Leesnitzer, Taylor Leesnitzer, Meagan Golden and Delaney Golden; and his great grandchildren, Bailey Kitchens, Addison Kitchens, Tucker Pope, Miles Pope and Bowen Wilson.
Flowers may be sent to Hillsborough United Methodist Church or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to UNC Hospice.
