He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Lynch and Clara Lynch; and his parents-in-law, Malcolm Rock Latta and Lucille Ellis. He is survived by : his wife Linda Latta Cherry; his stepchildren, Ricky, Tracy, Efland, Christopher Cherry, Rhonda of Hillsborough, Candice Sorrell, Richard and Star Sorrell of Haw River; his grandchildren, Brianna, Britney, Christopher, Rebecca and Liam Cherry; his pet Ewok; and his family, Bobby, Barbara Smith, Richard and Myrna Cone.
