He is survived by: his nephew Bobby R Knight Sr. (Linda); his niece Laverne Knight Martin; his great-nieces and great-nephews, David Tony Squires, Timothy Martin, Larry Craig Knight, Bobby Ray Knight, Bobby Ray Knight Jr., Ross Knight, Tammy Martin and Lori Berry; his nieces, Kathy Knight and Glenda Knight; his caregivers, Suzanne Finch, Steve and Terrie Campbell; and also Sharon Van Vechten.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Walker's Funeral Home - Hillsborough (204 N Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the New Hope Presbyterian Church Cemetery (4701 NC-86, Chapel Hill, NC 27516).
