She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas S. Brown and Olivia Howard Brown; and her husband H. Carlton McKee. She is survived by: her children, Anne McKee Purcell (Edmund) and H. Carlton McKee, Jr. (Sara) of Hillsborough; her grandchildren, Matthew E. Purcell (Emily) of Laurinburg, Patrick T. Purcell, Andrew D. Purcell (Alicia), Henry C. McKee, III and Mary Catherine L. McKee of Hillsborough; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Mason and Harper Purcell; and her close friends, Marcia Adams and Eileen Patriarca.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to either church, the Orange County Animal shelter or a charity of your choice.
