He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Coley Ray and Mozelle Byrd Ray; and his brother Samuel Ray. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Ray; his children, Mandy Parker (Mike) and Charlie Ray (Anna); his grandchildren, Reese Parker, Caleb Parker, Sam Ray and Emerson Ray; and his brother Larry Ray (Sheri).
