With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Currie of Hillsborough, North Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Thompson and Peggie Brooks Thompson; her husband Linwood Currie; her daughter Revonne Currie; her grandson Clifton Jeffers Foster, Jr.; and her siblings, Willie Lee Thompson, James Thompson, Bertha Long, Truth Ann Pulliam and Mary Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Clifton Jeffers Foster, Sr. (Evelina) of Roxboro, Elbert J. Foster (Gloria) of Hillsborough, William Currie of Roxboro, Larry Currie (Hattie) of Hurdle Mills, Linwood B. Currie of Hurdle Mills, Peggy Thompson (Steve) of Hillsborough and Beverly Currie of Hillsborough. She is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
