He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dees and Mary Dees; and his siblings, Jim Dees, Sara Conoly, Ken Dees, Frank Dees and Linda Lovette.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Tilley Dees; his children, Robert Dees (Melody), Dwayne Dees and Tammy Teeple (Robert); his grandchildren, Nicole Hammond (Jimmy), Austin Teeple and Blake Teeple; his great grandchildren, Hayleigh Hammond and Brooklyn Hammond; his siblings, Dan Dees (Marquerite), Joyce Davis (Bob), Allene Stiffel (Art), Allen Dees (Lona) and Donnie Dees (Ruth); and his brothers-in-law, Keith Tilley, Hal Keith and Arthur Keith. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
