It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madeline Ferrell Sparrow (Hillsborough, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul B. Sparrow Jr; and her siblings, John R. Ferrell, Violet F. Chappell and Frances F. Reaves. She is survived by: her sister Pansy F. Dodson; and her niece Sharon Reaves of New York. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to University United Methodist Church for Quiet Care or to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill.
