She is survived by : her husband Emilio Giuseppe Tavernise; her family Pookie; her children, Peter Tavernise (Sara) and Adriana Tavernise; her granddaughters, Charlotte Tavernise, Sylvia Tavernise and Elisa Vance; her brother Jack Powers; her nephew Christopher Powers; her nieces, Jennifer Powers Hicks and Elizabeth Powers; and her cousins, Gilbert B. Wheless, Jr. and Larry Hamlett.
