It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lewis Phillip Walker of Hillsborough, North Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Vance Ormond Walker and Lillian Jeffries Walker; and his siblings, Jean Walker Berry (late Delma) and V. Claiborne Walker. He is survived by : his brothers-in-law, Wm Wayne McGhee, Jr. and Don Duncan; his niece Angie Duncan Cook; his wife Diane; his daughter Jennifer Lynn Walker; his brother Bryant J. Walker (late Nancy); his nieces, Bette Clack (late Neal), Allyson Jacobs (Marty), Tammy Ellington (Ben), Eleanor Vaughan (Curtis) and Janice Kozrendorfer (Dan); his nephew C. Wayne Walker (Penny); his father-in-law Wayne McGhee (Becky); his sisters-in-law, Susan Duncan and Sharon Davis (Paul); his nieces and nephews, Shawn and Brandy Garrard; his friends, David Paschall, Jerry Wade, Robert Isley, Mike Wright, Bradley Fox and John Lopes; and his close friends, Curtis Riley, Roger Hall, John Moore and Willie Erstes.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker's Funeral Home - Hillsborough (204 N Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278). A burial was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Little River Presbyterian Church Cemetery (4211 Little River Church Rd, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541).
