He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Taylor and Lucille Foster Taylor; his significant other Joyce Ann Nodine Taylor; his brother Bethel; and his son Larry Alden Taylor, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Rodney Taylor (Martha) of Dublin, OH, Beth Boyce of Hillsborough and Tara Walls (Robert) of Lakeland, FL.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
