He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Rehder and Anna "Marie" Rehder; and his brothers, Donald and Carroll. He is survived by : his wife Janice Elaine Sherer; his daughters, Nicole Scheffler (Craig) of Boone, NC and Melanie Silinski (Peter) of Hillsborough, NC; his sister Marilyn Kruger (Roger) of Omaha, NE; and his grandchildren, Brooke Scheffler, Brycen Scheffler, Abby Silinski and Jake Silinski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
