He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde M. Baird of Burke Co and Carrie Burns Baird of Burke Co. He is survived by: his brother Rondall; his wife Sally Baird of Valdese, NC.; his brothers, Lloyd (Mabel) of Madison, NC and Clyde Hughland (late Barbara) of Morganton, NC.; his stepsons, James Rex Baird, Jr. (Paula) of Hillsborough, NC and Donald Eugene Baird (Jaynee) of Fredericksburg, VA; his grandchildren, Justin Brent Baird (Anna) of Bethesda, MD, Shannon Shelton (Daniel) of Chesapeake, VA and Lindsay Shirey (Cameron) of Clayton, NC; and also, Parker, Lyla, Adeline of Chesapeake, VA, Hudson and Emory of Bethesda, MD.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
