He was predeceased by : his parents, Hiram Boyd, Sr. and Mary Dodson (Williams); his wife Mary; and his siblings, Edward, Larry, Virginia and Gladys.
He is survived by : his children, Melissa Roberson, Joan Dodson, Laura Dodson, Janet Fox, Boyd Dodson and Benny Dodson; and his siblings, Shirey Davidson, Peggy Ritch and Harold Dodson (Marie). He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
