He is survived by: his children, Robert Sykes (Stephanie), Sherry Wright (Terry) and Becky Pendergraft (Everette); his grandchildren, Daniel Wright (Jennifer), David Wright (Claudia), Stephen Wright (Sidney), Caleb Sykes (Sarah), Jacob Sykes, Savannah Sykes, Austin Pendergraft and Taylor Pendergraft; his great grandchildren, Seth Wright, Addison Wright and Butterbean; his siblings, Billy Sykes (Diane), David Sykes (Pamela), Ken Sykes (Lovanda), Mary Eggers (John), Brenda Conway, Catherine Hall (Jim) and Debra Fields (Tim); and his caregivers, Sharon Thomas and Karen Locklear.
