He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Trapp and Frances Trapp; and his siblings, Ted Trapp, Norma and Eleanor Trapp.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Trapp; his children, Raymond Trapp of Cocoa Beach, FL, Carolyn Trapp (Brian Young) of Efland, NC and Melanie Watson (James) of Hillsborough, NC; his grandchildren, Dylan, MacKenzie Trapp, Aiden Young, Tristin and Anthony Watson; and his brother Bill Trapp of McLean, VA..
