Frances Coleman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Coleman of Hillsborough, North Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2021 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nelson Woods and Aurelia Wilson Woods of Orange County; her son-in-law Ray C. Phillips; and her siblings, William Doak Woods, Emeline Woods Apple, Nancy Woods Davis, Louise Hughes Woods, Charles Woods, John Woods, Fred Woods, Ada Woods Auten Wheeler and Grace Woods Linderman.
She is survived by: her husband Alonzo Brown Coleman, Sr.; and her children, Alonzo B. Coleman, Jr. (Nancy) of Hillsborough, Frances Coleman Phillips of Hillsborough and Marianna Coleman Abashian (Mark) of Kansas City. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to Duke Hospice.
