He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Edward Clapp and Ethel Lane Clapp. He is survived by: his wife Donna Tatum Clapp; his children, Rodney Clapp and Tracie Cherry (Ricky); his grandchildren, Garrett Clapp, Josie Clapp and Brianna Cherry; and his siblings, Joe Clapp and Brenda McGehee.
