She was predeceased by: her sister Daphene G. Scarlett; and her brother-in-law Bobby C. Burton. She is survived by: her husband William Paul Cook; her son Barry Wilson Sykes; her siblings, Peggy G. Walker (Norman), Jackie G. Burton and Ronald D. Gattis (Betty); her brother-in-law Edward Scarlett; her stepdaughter Paula C. Oakley (Tom); her stepgrandchildren, Megan W. Stanford, Melyssa W. Daulton and Jeffrey F. Williams; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanie C. Sturdivant and Helen C. Whitt.
