She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Maurice Kendrick, Jr. and Barbara Dovell Kendrick. She is survived by: her husband Edward Revilo Cheek, Jr.; her children, David Cheek (Cathy Stickland) and Elizabeth Cheek Stuart (Jay); her grandchildren, Katie Godfrey (Jeremy), Kelly Tyndall (Michael), Garrett Stuart (Erica), Turner Stuart (Nicole Cort), Elizabeth "Libby" Cheek, Saylor Godfrey and Elainey Miller (Reid); her great grandchildren, Ragan Godfrey, Deacon Godfrey, Palmer Stuart, Miller Cheek and Spencer Stuart; and her sisters, Maurine and Julie Sawyer (Jim). She is also survived by several cousins and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
