In the vast expanse of eternity, Billy Strudwick shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Billy Strudwick farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McKiver Baity and Maude Brown Baity; and his siblings, Jack Baity Jr., Marie Baity Fearrington and Carol "Bunny" Baity Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hogan Baity of Hillsborough; and his sons, Daron Baity of Timberlake, Jerry Baity of Mebane, Barry Baity of Hurdle Mills and Terry Baity of Koblenz Germany. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren/step-grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough (204 N Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Efland United Methodist Memorial Cemetery (3418 US-70, Efland, NC 27243).
