It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Wheeler of Hillsborough, North Carolina, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Peevler and Dorothea Peevler; her husband Rev. Arlon Wheeler; her son Douglas; and her siblings, Audrey Whitney, Roger and Arthur David Peevler.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Wheeler (Sandy), Rebekah "Beckie" Hermann (Del), Kenneth Wheeler (Cathy), Daniel Wheeler (Mindy), Ruthanne Lynch (Chad) and Jonathan Wheeler (Elaine); and her cousin Rosemary Philips. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
