She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Bowser and Dora Bowser; and her husband David Curtis Roberds. She is survived by : her children, Carol Debien (Paul) and David Roberds, Jr. (Kim); and her granddaughters, Gina, Christina and Mary. She is also survived by grandson, and 3 great granddaughters.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705).
