He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Strum and Mary Viola Brown Strum; and his siblings, Oscar Strum, Melvin Strum, Stella Adams, Mandy Wheely and Hazel Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Whicker Strum; his grandchildren, Lynn Personius (Bobby) of Gibsonville, Kelly Caligan (Will) of McLeansville, David Strum (Penny) of Iron Station and Tommy Albertson, Jr. (Christy) of Stoneville; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Page (Michelle), Emily Siler, Andrew, Olivia, Ava Albertson, Jake and Logan Caligan.
