She was loved and cherished by many people including: her aunt Tavy; her parents, Olin Spencer Taylor and Emma Luvenia Maynor Taylor; her cousins, Linda Gail Gordon and Bruce Edward Gordon; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Lamar Hicks, Jamie Lorin Hicks, Mandy Ann Gordon Wagner and Chelsea Michelle Lane; her great grandchildren, Abby Loren Hicks, Mackenzie Ray Dobson and Willow Grace Hicks; her husband Lawrence Albert Gordon of Old, NC; and her sister-in-law Virginia "Bunchy" Coburn Taylor of Hillsborough.
