She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Cook; her parents, Claude Smith and Bertha Hollar Smith; her son Thomas Bumgarner (Tommy); and her siblings, J. W. Smith, Estelle VanHoy and Sadie Bowman.
She is survived by: her children, David Bumgarner (Brenda), Kenny Bumgarner (Donna), Brenda Hallman (Richard) and Linda White (Joe); and her brother Wade Smith (Barbara). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
