He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Davis and Shirley K. Davis; and his brothers, Eddie Davis, Terry Elliot, Floyd Best and Jerry Palmer.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Davis, Larry Davis (Nannette), John Davis (Shanna), Pat Lynn, Betty Hawkins and Shana Wilborn (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
