He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Harold Kanupp and Mamie Rich Kanupp Speagle; and his siblings, Iris Ann Overweg, Gerald Ray Kanupp and Jeanette Kanupp.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Lail Kanupp; his sons, Travis Dwayne Kanupp (Janice Huffman Kanupp) and Kevin Lee Kanupp (Janet Carswell Kanupp); his grandchildren, Shasta Sutphin (Caleb), Stormi Bingham (Michael), Stoney Kanupp (Stephanie), Lynn Kanupp (Whitney) and Leslee Kanupp; his great grandchildren, Case Sutphin, Cruz Sutphin, Cricket Sutphin, Ridge Bingham, Parker Kanupp, Cambrie Kanupp, Sawyer Kanupp and Baylee Kanupp; and his sisters, Maxine Hildebran and Katherine Crawley (Floyd).
