With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel Louise Childers (Hildebran, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Young and Martha Weaver Young; her husband Fred Childers; and her grandchildren, Kristi Fulbright and Daniel Evans.
She is survived by: her sister Joan Buff of Hickory; her children, John Childers, Carol Beasley (Michael) of Moravian Falls, Mary Hall (Gary) of Taylorsville, Susie Childers of Longview and Martha Evans (Larry) of Hildebran; and her grandchildren, Chasity Boughman, Sharon Hicks, Cody and Casey Evans. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care.
