She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gustavus Icard and Virgil Mae Wilson Icard; her daughter Peggy Delaine Wade Arno; her grandson Matthew Rich; and her siblings, Earl, Fred, Kelly, Wayne Icard, Irene Bowman, Shirley Martin, Leola "Dot" Buff, June Carswell, Peggy Icard, Priscilla Shepherd and Brenda Kaye Icard Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Furman (Rich) of Hickory and Thomas Gregory Wade (Karil) of Bethlehem; and her son-in-law Samuel Arno of Snellville, GA. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Warlick's Baptist Church Cemetery (2684 Warlicks Church Rd, Connelly Springs, NC 28612).
