He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Cook and Minnie Tallent Cook; and his wife Nancy Flanigan Cook. He is survived by: his children, Gene Cook (Glenda) of Hudson, Elizabeth "Kay" Cook Mosteller (Larry) of Hickory, Ruby Propst of Cherryville, Deborah Adams (Tim) of Montana, Danny Cook (Linda) of Hildebran, Michael Cook (Bobbie) of Lawndale and Nancy McMahan (Ernie Peeler) of Connelly Springs; and his siblings, Dorothy Cook, Jesse Cook, Bessie Bumgarner and Junie Rhoney. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, numerous great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
